To kick off the new year, Retro Jordan
will be releasing an upcoming "University Red" colorway of the Air Jordan 33 performance basketball shoe. This new colorway of the Air Jordan 33 demands your attention as the majority of the sneaker has been covered in University Red with some new leather detailing hitting the tongue and heel. Complementing the University Red upper are hits of Black on the inner liner, the neoprene areas of the tongue, and the tonal elephant print on the heel counter. The Jumpman on the tongue and the Nike Air branding on the heel are done in a Metallic Red while a translucent red outsole wraps things up.
Using a shockingly powerful red for the base color, these new Air Jordan 33
boast quilted red leather on the tongue, heel, and forefoot for a pop of luxe style. Meanwhile, a tonal black elephant print appears on the heel overlay to provide an interesting mix of contrast and material texture. The FlightSpeed lacing system is also done up in red/black, and the shoe is then competed by bold branded hits on the tongue and heel. This Air Jordan XXXIII features an all-Red with Metallic Red branding on the leather tongues and heels. Black detailing atop a translucent outsole completes the design.
As one of the most inherently wearable New Air Jordans 2019
in recent memory, the Air Jordan 33 is the rare modern-day performance hoops silhouette that manages to successfully combine high-tech performance with a healthy-but-not-overbearing dose of casual style. Most of its early releases have been geared more towards the court than the street — understandably, as they are a basketball shoe first and foremost — but now an almost all-red colorway complete with a veritable heap of new patterns that seems equally geared towards both arenas has surfaced.
