Tell us about your fondest memory of playing Vanilla World of Warcraft

I can still don't forget with great clarity the first day I ever played World of Warcraft. It was also the first time I had ever built a personal computer, enlisting the help of a family buddy to help me select out the components and place it collectively. It was a crappy AMD Athlon 64 and a few Nvidia GPU with only 128MB of VRAM, but hey, it ran WoW and that's all that mattered.

Following a lengthy day of creating the PC (which includes a trip to the retailer when my tower proved also tiny for the motherboard), and an even longer wait even though the 4 CDs installed WoW at a crawl, it was finally ready to play. I squeezed within a total of 15 minutes prior to my mom told me I had to visit bed since I had college the subsequent day. I was heartbroken. The very good news is I produced up for that evening cut cruelly short by years of weekend WoW binge-sessions. Vanilla World of Warcraft was a game that I sunk numerous hours into, and it really is in all probability among the couple of games I can honestly say has defined me as individual.

Together with the announcement of World of Warcraft: Classic at Blizzcon this weekend, I, like many of you, have already been taking time for you to buy wow gold reminisce over these late evenings of slaughtering quillboars. This weekend, we want you to share your fondest memory of playing Vanilla WoW. Whether or not it was an insurmountable raid boss that your guild heroically overcame, or some random interaction having a stranger that generally stuck with you, we need to hear your story. Next week, we'll round up the most beneficial, most nostalgic stories, and share them with everyone. So why not hop in to the comments and wax nostalgic just like the rest of us?
